[00:00:00] Speaker A: I'm thrilled because I have familiar faces in the studio with me. The Cofields are here. What's going on?
[00:00:06] Speaker B: What up, Doe? Praise the Lord.
[00:00:08] Speaker A: And my favorite royalty is here. I also have MC Knights in the building.
[00:00:14] Speaker C: The west is in the building.
[00:00:16] Speaker A: I love it. I love it. I met you last year and you're back this year because you all have the Hip Hop Worship Gathering in Detroit Part 2.
And it's the tour, it's beginning right here in Detroit like last year.
[00:00:32] Speaker B: That is correct.
[00:00:33] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:00:34] Speaker A: So tell me about it, Ms. Kimberly.
[00:00:37] Speaker B: Well, shout out to our manager, Von Zelle Washington. For those who don't know, he's the visionary behind it all.
A young Texas Ranger is what I call him. But the Lord gave him this vision to go out and to basically say it's like we have the Maverick City movement for gospel hip hop. So last year we did 16 stops and then under that we have 40 baptisms and we also have 190 people to give their lives over to Christ in rededication. So it's a powerful movement and we're looking forward to even more this year.
[00:01:07] Speaker A: I got chills with that because one of my things that you already know if you're from Detroit is that I love to focus on the hip hop artists who are out there trying to make a move.
And what I am excited about is that even the Stellars now are opening the doors for hip hop. And we were talking about that year col collaborating with this.
[00:01:31] Speaker C: Yeah. So it's funny you say that.
Well, actually. Right. So I became the first hip hop dude last year to present a Stellar award for the hip hop category. So I presented Pastor Mike his Stellar award and my man Canton Jones won Hip hop album of the year. So yeah, to be involved in what's happening, you know, now as far as help ushering in, you know, hip hop. So you got the Stellars and then also the Gospel industry coalition with Dr. Theresa Jackson, who's really, really getting behind the hip hop movement and helping us push it forward.
[00:02:07] Speaker A: I'm so happy about that because honestly, it's long overdue and I'm excited for you all because you're taking this generation even further. Yes, Lord, we are talking about tonight's event is the start of a two day event which was really good last year. Yes, tell us about it.
[00:02:26] Speaker B: Well, first of all, we wanna say thank you as well for allowing us to talk about it last year. Many came out who heard about it. So tonight we're gonna have a pre show. We have so many more Guests and artists who are coming from all around the United States that are excited to be here. So on tonight we're gonna have a comedy show with our brother Legacy, the Prince Legacy and friend and Miss Victoria. And we're also going to have so many more artists who have like joined us within this last year that are gonna be presenting on tonight. So the door is open at 6pm and the comedy and pre show begins at the top. And it's gonn so it's free tonight. And also we have tickets available for tomorrow as well.
[00:03:01] Speaker A: Yes. Now tomorrow you have some special guests. One in the studio. Ms. Breeze.
[00:03:06] Speaker B: Yes. Ms. Bree smiles in the building.
[00:03:08] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:03:09] Speaker D: So happy to be here.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: I'm glad you're here. Tell us what you doing on Saturday.
[00:03:14] Speaker D: I'm doing a full set, two newies and an oldie.
So I've been on a few tours. And so the second song that I'll be doing on my set is called the Bride and it is a song that I went on tour with a couple years ago.
And then the other two songs are gonna be new music.
[00:03:33] Speaker A: Okay. Excellent, excellent.
[00:03:35] Speaker C: She toured with some heavyweights. She ain't really give you like the. The full rundown, but she wasn't you featured at the Doves last year?
[00:03:42] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, the Doves, the big dealers.
We went.
Yeah, we went to the Grammys this year. And I actually got to rap for the legend, Ms. Lauryn Hill the Grammys this year.
[00:03:56] Speaker A: Get out.
[00:03:58] Speaker D: We're blessed out here. We take. We taking kingdom to the streets.
[00:04:02] Speaker B: Yeah, I love it.
[00:04:02] Speaker A: I love.
Is the hip hop worship gathering starting tonight right here in the city of Detroit ahead of their tour that they are doing. And you just heard from Bri and she's a heavyweight and she didn't want to be, you know, bragadocious about it and all that kind of stuff. You're great.
[00:04:27] Speaker B: Thank you.
[00:04:28] Speaker A: Great mc.
Nice. What you doing on this weekend?
[00:04:31] Speaker C: Oh, man, you know I'm doing a masterclass.
[00:04:34] Speaker A: Right.
[00:04:34] Speaker C: So last year I did a masterclass and there's a lot of things that's happened in the music business since then.
[00:04:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:04:40] Speaker C: And we're going to talk about AI.
[00:04:42] Speaker A: Oh, right, good.
[00:04:43] Speaker C: Not just AI, but how to manage it yourself.
[00:04:46] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:04:46] Speaker C: Right. Because a lot of information comes up in regards to the artist, but artists don't know is that you control that information. Because when you type in, hey, who's Randy Miles with the AI situation, they only going to pull up what is official. So if you have an official site, AI is going to treat that as an official word. So I'm just giving out just little gems, but we're going to dive into
[00:05:06] Speaker A: it and I do. Thank God.
[00:05:07] Speaker C: And then I'm doing.
And I'm doing a full set where I'm going to introduce some songs from my new album. The book of my name is Alessandro. So it's the book of Alessandro that's going to be coming in a few months. And so I'm excited about that. I got a new children's project that came out called the Hootie Hoos.
[00:05:25] Speaker A: I love this.
[00:05:26] Speaker C: The Hootie Hoos. Listen, this project is called the Schoolhouse Bounce. The last project was rapping and learning phonics. So any children from 3 to 5 years old that need to learn how to read,
[00:05:39] Speaker B: talk about it.
[00:05:39] Speaker C: Well, you know, it's really advanced tools and you know what I'm saying? So, yeah, then do that. And then me and Ken Jones put out a project called the Promise Notes,
[00:05:48] Speaker A: which I just immediately downloaded.
[00:05:50] Speaker C: It's Love Stories. So anybody that's familiar with the love stories in the Bible, this is that album. We took all the love stories from the Bible and put it in a, let's just say, you know, music soul child meets d' Angelo type vibe. So, you know, check it out.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: It's nice. It is really nice. Nice MC Nice.
[00:06:08] Speaker B: Thank you.
[00:06:08] Speaker C: Yes. I couldn't have said it better myself.
[00:06:10] Speaker B: Nice in the building and vice in the building. The west is woke.

[00:06:19] Speaker B: Come on out, everybody, to Rhema International church located at 20531 Kelly Road in Harper Woods, Michigan. And again, the show tonight is gonna be at seven.
That's when doors open. We're gonna have the comedy show and the pre show featuring Legacy to Prince and Friends. And then meet us tomorrow for the VIP Masterclass with Dr. Nyce at 4pm and the concert begins at 5:30. Can't wait to see y' all there. God bless y' all and love y'.
