[00:00:00] Speaker A: I am in the studio with Mansa Musa. And Mansa, I am excited that you're in the studio, first of all, so I can see your face. And secondly, we're often talking about the things that go on at Operation Hope, and I get emails asking how to get more information about Operation Hope. And Operation Hope has an event that's coming up where you can get all of that information all at one time. [00:00:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Happy to announce that Operation Hope is sponsoring the uplift Detroit event on June 26 at 430, starting at 430 at the carpenter's Millwright Union hall. But if you need more information on it, you can always text 313-47-4099 but let me tell you a little bit about the event. First of all, we're gonna have a panel that includes some major leaders in Detroit talking about what their particular institutions are doing to help develop the city. There will be the Demetrius Hutcherson, president of First Independence Bank. Samuel Wright with Huntington Bank. Reverend Wendell Atheny, President of the NAACP will be there. Kevin Johnson, president of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation will be there. And Tawana Rose, 5th, 3rd bank vice president of community impact. Now that will be the panel discussion. But there are two breakout sessions I really want to bring to people's attention. [00:01:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:01:35] Speaker B: One of the breakout sessions will focus on operations Hope's entrepreneurship program and how to get funding for startups. It's called funding the journey, entrepreneurship, investment and access to funding. The second breakout session, which I will host, will focus on home ownership, especially for first time homebuyers. The topic is how to qualify for down payment assistance. [00:02:02] Speaker A: That is what I want to hear. [00:02:04] Speaker B: So once again, I'm encouraging people to come out. It's on June 26, starting at 430 at the Carpenter and Mill Rights Union headquarters, 11687 American Street, Detroit. But once again, just text 313-47-4099 and I'll send you complete information. [00:02:27] Speaker A: I absolutely love that. And again, at no cost. [00:02:31] Speaker B: At no cost. [00:02:32] Speaker A: I love what you all do at operation hope.
