Show Notes

You may know Derrick Brinkley from the plays he’s written… or maybe from his music projects. Perhaps you know him as pastor of Spirit of Excellence, Church of God in Christ; or, this could be your first time hearing from this man of God who has performed in the United States and England with such well-known gospel artists such as: The Winans, Cece Winans, the late Rev. James Cleveland, and Vanessa Bell Armstrong just to name a few. Pastor Brinkley also has four music projects under his belt and has also written and performed in countless plays.

Though pastor Brinkley is not new to the scene, he is one of Detroit’s finest representation of “Made In The D.” So, today we celebrate him in our Local Artist Showcase.
