The holidays can be really hard for people… especially if they are dealing with grief and loss.
L. Lynn Hempstead knows that anguish all too well after losing her mom, dad and husband all in a span of three years! I wanted to sit down and hear her testimony about how she turned her pain into purpose by writing the book, “Silver Linings: A Widow’s Guide to Processing Grief and Loss.”
Hempstead, a nationally certified counselor who works with students in the area of mental health, found herself having to apply the tools she uses to help her students to motivate herself to carry on; and decided to expand those tools to others who find themselves stuck in grief.
Please listen to our complete conversation below and go to llynnhempstead.com for her book and for more information.
