Show Notes

During the pandemic, many of us turned to social media to lean into our faith. Israel Houghton was no different. He had already started his #WorshipWednesdays on a smaller scale but it quickly became the “go to” place for stay-at-home worship services for many of us.

I talked to Israel about #WorshipWednesdays and how this powerful time turned into the new live album, Feels Like Home: The Quarantine Worship Experience. His new single from the project with New Breed, Hymn of Breakthrough, came from a COVID safe small group of band members, family, and friends in what Israel says was one of the most rewarding worship experiences he’d ever been a part of.

Full Disclosure this video has me ugly crying like I will on the first day back in church…

Feels Like Home: The Quarantine Worship Experience is available now wherever you get your music
