DeVon Franklin, ‘I’m Just Being What God Called Me To Be’

Woodlawn is a moving and inspirational new film based on the true story of how love and unity overcame hate and division in early 1970s Birmingham, Alabama. In the movie… and not behind the camera… is author, preacher, motivation speaker and President and CEO of Franklin Entertainment, DeVon Franklin.

I had the opportunity to talk to this powerhouse about Woodlawn and what it was like to be in front of the camera as a first time actor. We also talked about his upcoming projects including a new book, written by DeVon and his beautiful wife Meagan.
