[00:00:00] Speaker A: My brother Major is on the phone. What is going on?
[00:00:04] Speaker B: Listen, Queen Randy, it's an honor to have this moment with you yet again. Always a pleasure. It's great to hear your voice. I'm praying for you. And we'll get more into that pun a little later. But the truth is, I am praying for you, and I'm hoping you are. Well, let's get into it.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Yes. I am so excited about this. You are in town for Dee Hattie's live recording Homecoming. You're part of the.
[00:00:32] Speaker B: I am. I am Detroit. Your brother Major, my mama's favorite Hope dealer, is coming to town. I'm super excited. November 30th, Dietrich Haddon's live recording. That is going to be bananas.
[00:00:47] Speaker A: It is going to be.
[00:00:49] Speaker B: Detroit already knows. Anything Dietrich has is epic. He just. He does not do anything barely or hardly. No, he does it fully and surely. And so I'm excited to be amongst one of the special guests. He's got Charles Jenkins, Tasha Page Lockhart, Molly Music, Tim Bowman Jr. He's got the lineup. J. Maas.
[00:01:11] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:01:12] Speaker B: It's crazy.
[00:01:13] Speaker A: Yes. I love this because he has, you know, Detroit representing in this live recording, but then he has his special friends, Major and Charles Jenkins and Molly music. It's going to be so cool to be able to be a part of this. And what people may need to understand is there are two shows and he's doing an actual live recording for a new project.
[00:01:38] Speaker B: Yes, yes, yes. So make sure you know that the tickets are moving.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:01:44] Speaker B: But you want to be in the number because history will be made.
[00:01:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:48] Speaker B: It will be very special. The song that I'm doing with Tim, Ms. Randy. Ms. Randy.
[00:01:55] Speaker A: I need to be there.
[00:01:57] Speaker B: Oh, you need to be in the building. Listen, y'all, get over to Ticketmaster immediately to get your tickets to see Dietrich Haddon live recording and friends. It's going to be an amazing concert, y'all, and it's going to be special. I want the whole family there.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: Absolutely is. For the whole family. And tickets are also available at God's World on seven Miles. So make sure that you go see brother Larry for those tickets.
[00:02:25] Speaker B: Oh, yes. Gods World. Okay.
[00:02:27] Speaker A: Yes. And I'm so excited that you're going to be a part of it because you bring so much joy. And, of course, you are the Hope Dealer. So it's going to be a fantastic afternoon and evening. So pick one of them and go. And like Dietrich says, if you want to pick both of them, you can do that, too.
[00:02:46] Speaker B: Absolutely. Absolutely. It will be something special. And honestly, if you needed a reminder, watch the recent Stellar Awards with Dietrich Haddon.
[00:02:55] Speaker A: Come on.
[00:02:57] Speaker B: Just in case you needed a reminder.
[00:02:59] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:02:59] Speaker B: How he takes it up for Kingdom in a way like no other. He's just. He's a class act. I'm super grateful for my brotherhood with Dietrich. He allowed me to co star in his movie.
[00:03:14] Speaker A: That's right.
[00:03:15] Speaker B: The Fallen. And, you know, I did knock him out. I did not come out on the Fallen, but nevertheless, he came out victorious.
[00:03:25] Speaker A: It's for the arts. It's for the arts.
[00:03:28] Speaker B: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
[00:03:31] Speaker A: I've got Major on the line with me, and coming up, we're gonna talk about something very new, some new music. We'll talk about it coming up.
[00:03:40] Speaker B: He's got the whole world in his hands.
[00:03:46] Speaker A: I am on the phone with Major.
Major is gonna be in town up on Saturday for the live recording with Deidre Haddon. But here's another thing. If you don't know Major, you have some new music.
[00:04:00] Speaker B: I do. I do. You want me. You want me to talk about it?
[00:04:03] Speaker A: I want to talk about it. First of all, the EP is called Hope of my Soul.
[00:04:08] Speaker B: Yes. The hope of my soul. It's really special. It's a collection of music and message that really speaks to the whole of who I am. I'm a church boy who God is using in mainstream music to really be and represent light and love. I'm the hope dealer, and the hope of my soul is the full expression of that. I'm super proud of this project. Thank you for even acknowledging that you didn't have to do all that.
[00:04:37] Speaker A: Well, listen, because I got a hold of the song I prayed for, you said a prayer, and, man, this song is so awesome.
Where did it come from, my brother? Give me some details.
[00:04:53] Speaker B: Listen. So firstly, thank you. I prayed for you is my new hope anthem, Beautiful people. It's a love letter that I wrote to the ones I love in the heart of this world that we gonna be all right.
[00:05:08] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:05:09] Speaker B: Though we may feel lonely at times, though it may feel difficult and unbearable, we're not alone and we're never forgotten.
Prayer is a direct access to the heart and hand of the Father. And I'm super excited to sing a song that is speaking to the intersection of faith and culture to remind those in these times that we're in. Because it's crazy. It's some crazy times right now that's really trying to shake our faith and to deplete our hope. But I want us to be reminded that you lock into prayer. You Lock into the access of every resource.
[00:05:51] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: You can think you need.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:05:54] Speaker B: And it will be abundantly yours. The song was written initially during the pandemic and you know, I wanted to encourage the hearts of the people. I didn't release it until I released the EP the Hope of my Soul earlier this year. The deluxe version is out, but it's, it's really special and it's wild that in this season that we had already planned to be the release date of this new single.
How timely it is.
It's wild, Miss Randy. It's wild.
[00:06:31] Speaker A: It's for sure. I mean, you know, it's so on point and so necessary in these days when people are feeling like they're left alone, you know, and they're on social media doom scrolling and you know, feeling, you know, and then you come out with this beautiful visual with this video and then your social media where you're giving hope and your podcast, all these things. And then you come out with I prayed for you. Oh, come on.
It's such perfect timing. And if you, you know, my face at this point, I might be on the floor, I might not. But.
[00:07:11] Speaker B: Listen, listen. I am excited that the people are embracing it. Yes. That music video is something special. It has made its world debut this past weekend on YouTube and Vevo. So make sure you get over to YouTube.com nowthatsmajor and you will find the new music video produced by Purple Rope Productions Entertainment. I'm super grateful. It's special. Did you see when I start out in that black suit, right?
[00:07:44] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:07:44] Speaker B: And you know, and I'm looking sharp, right?
[00:07:46] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:07:46] Speaker B: And then that boy turns into the all white and has the nerve to go into the water.
Stop playing with him.
Stop playing with him.
[00:07:57] Speaker A: Let's listen to I prayed for you said a prayer on the Detroit Praise Network.
[00:08:04] Speaker B: I prayed for you.
[00:08:05] Speaker A: That is, I prayed for you said a prayer with my brother Major. Thank you so much for hanging out with me.
[00:08:13] Speaker B: You're very, very welcome. Thank you for having me. Seriously, I can't wait to see you in person, man.
[00:08:19] Speaker A: I'm gonna have to jump in there.
[00:08:20] Speaker B: November 30th.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: That's right.
Well, how do they find Major? I already know, but tell everybody how.
[00:08:28] Speaker B: Yes, indeed, beautiful people. Major. When you are googling Major, remember it's all capital letters with a period because I mean that thing. My mama name me Major. I just capitalize every letter and add a period because not only do I mean it, I think it would be very helpful for you to google me and find me faster. You're welcome.

[00:09:36] Speaker B: Thank so much. And remember everything that you're going through. Hope ain't ever canceled. And I prayed for.
