Wess Morgan found himself back in the studio after a year when the music and live entertainment industry came to a halt and a time where people have been less than loving toward each other.
Morgan is working on a new project slated for release in late 2021 but wanted to give us a sneak peek with the release of “Why Can’t We Love?,” his first single in four years. The single is a family affair with Wess’ uncle, award-winning Nashville songwriter, Chaz Bosarge as the composer and featuring his father, Joseph Morgan, his daughter, singer/songwriter Lizzie Morgan, and his six-year-old-son, Joel Morgan, closing out the song.
We talked about how he got through the worst of the pandemic with the entire family in his home, recording in the midst of a pandemic and how the song came to align with the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
