Spring Break Tour Brings Scholarship Money To Detroit Area Students

When I was in college I spent my winter and spring breaks traveling with the choir. Yes, while other students were going somewhere warm to unwind… I was on a bus traveling everywhere to sing. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Howard Gospel Choir knows what that’s like as they are touring during spring break with a stop right here in Detroit! This stop also serves to promote educational advocacy within the Detroit community. There will be three scholarships presented during the concert event that features the Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University, the Mosaic Singers from Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, the Eastern Michigan Gospel Choir and hosted by lead vocalist from Ricky Dillard and New G, Evangelist Lillian Lloyd.
