I met Pastor R.V. Sykes when he was named “Pastor of the Month” for January 2015. He told me about his awesome family and about raising six children… one daughter and five sons… all who are doing well. Pastor Sykes has written about his “journey to deposit and develop excellence in his five sons” (with his daughters permission) in a book called, Five Smooth Stones, a book he says is not about “perfect parenting, but overcoming the struggles associated with parenting.”
