I have developed quite a few family type relationships with many of the artists that come on my show. I’ve been called “Auntie” and even “Momma” Randi over these last 7-years and Joshua Rogers is one of those artists who feels more like a son to me.
Rogers became the first male and youngest winner of BET’s Sunday Best in season five of the popular show. He released his first project, “Well Done,” shortly after in 2012, “Unconditional” in 2013 and now… five years later, his latest project, “Returning,” seemingly signals the native of Greeleyville, South Carolina (now a metro-Detroiter) re-entrance to gospel music. However, Rogers says he’s been building a better relationship with God and his family during his absence. His single “Pour Your Oil,” proves that he’s on the right track!
