Today I spoke with acclaimed author-artist Daria Peoples-Riley about her powerful new book, America, My Love, America, My Heart that challenges readers of all ages to confront bias, prejudice, and discrimination by reflecting on the questions that many people of color have pondered in one way or another like, “America, do you love me? My black, My brown, My pride, My crown?”, and “Do you love my brave? Do you love my bold? Am I to have” Am I to hold?”
