Pentecost Sunday is the remembrance and celebration of the ushering of the Holy Spirit by the early church. Acts 2:1-4 says, "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them."
Bishop Corletta J. Vaughn pastor of Holy Ghost Cathedral in Detroit, has had Pentecost Sunday services for years. This year however, she says the Lord spoke to her and told her to have services for 3-days. Listen below as we talk about the services, what to expect and why she wants Pentecost to go on as long as it can this weekend.
