When Dathan Thigpen first appeared on BET’s Sunday Best, he would be unaware what the next six years would look like. It was prep season for this Mississippi native with Detroit ties.
Dathan is used to winning, receiving the distinct honor from the Cingular Wireless Mississippi Gospel Music Awards of: Male Lead Singer of a Local Group two years in a row. But it was his hiatus from traveling and performing that changed his life. I had the honor to talk to this anointed and electrifying psalmist about his journey today.
