Self-proclaimed, “Old Head” Semaje certainly has the flavor of some of his favorites like The Winans, Clark Sisters and Motown R&B and Rock & Roll, but he has a refreshing twist to his sound that is uniquely himself.
The Motown go getter recently signed with Tyscot Entertainment and has released a new single called, “You.” He also has an amazing introduction song from the classic Bill Wither’s song, “Lovely Day” that caught my attention a few weeks ago.
I talked to Semaje about his new music, his musical influences and his rich Motown background.
